With a dedicated and extremely successful career as an executive assistant, Linda has spent over 25 years mastering her “never-panic” demeanor so prized by senior executives. She has held executive assistant positions with a variety of Fortune-listed companies, spanning the legal, medical, and high-technology industries.

With a passion for developing and training others, Linda, along with other CEO assistants, developed the first certificate program for administrative professionals with UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley. She formerly served on the advisory board and was a master instructor for that program. Since 1995, Linda is an active member and co-founder of the Silicon Valley Catalysts Association (SVCA) which is an organization for Silicon Valley CEO assistants.

Along with Joanne Linden, Linda launched PlanetAdmin in June 2009 which provides services, training and educational programs for administrative professionals. Their recently published book, Sitting on a File Cabinet, Naked, With a Gun: True Stories of Silicon Valley CEO Assistants, offers an engaging, entertaining insider’s look into the offices of some of the most powerful men and women in Silicon Valley.

Linda has delivered training programs to multi-national companies and has been an invited speaker at administrative and event planner conferences.

Joanne Linden Chief Executive Assistant, Synopsys; Co Founder & Sr. Trainer, PlanetAdmin® & Author

Joanne Linden has a background that spans more than 30 years as an executive assistant.  With the majority of her career in Silicon Valley, she has worked with and been part of both successful start-ups and billion-dollar corporations. 

A true activist for professional administrators, Joanne, along with other CEO assistants, developed the first certificate program for administrative professionals with UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley.  Joanne served on the advisory board and has been an instructor for that program.  Joanne is a current member of Silicon Valley Catalysts Association (SVCA) and past President of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), San Jose and Crossroads Chapters.
